AutoCAD Designer / Drafter

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Designer/Drafter to create accurate technical drawings and plans that support project design, development, and execution. This role collaborates closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to translate concepts and specifications into precise, buildable drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Create, modify, and maintain detailed 2D and/or 3D drawings using AutoCAD
• 
  Prepare construction documents, layouts, schematics, and shop drawings
• 
  Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards
• 
  Incorporate redlines, field changes, and design updates into existing plans
• 
  Coordinate with engineering, architectural, and project teams to resolve design issues
• 
  Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and client requirements
• 
  Maintain organized drawing files and documentation
• 
  Assist with as-built drawings and project closeout documentation

Qualifications

• 
  Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D required; 3D a plus)
• 
  2+ years of experience in drafting or design
• 
  Strong understanding of technical drawings and construction documentation
• 
  Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and sketches
• 
  Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• 
  Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• 
  Experience in architecture, engineering, construction, or manufacturing environments
• 
  Knowledge of Revit, Civil 3D, or other CAD/BIM software
• 
  Associate degree or certification in Drafting, Design, or related field
