Full-time field equipment operator position open immediately on a 3000 acre grain farm and custom harvest business in Central South Dakota. MUST have at least six months experience. Duties include operation of large farm equipment for planting, cultivating, fertilizing, harvesting and transporting grain and oilseed crops. Equipment is equipped with GPS, auto steer and equipment monitors. Must also be able to service, maintain and perform light repair of equipment as well as some maintenance of buildings. CDL with air brakes endorsement is preferred but not required. This job requires a self-starter who is able to work independently. Candidate should have mechanical background and is able to perform and complete multiple tasks. Employee reports to owner. Wage is negotiable and housing is available.
