High School Assistant Nordic Skiing Coach The High School Assistant Nordic Skiing Coach will be available from the beginning of the season, November 2025 through February 2026. Requirements Must have or be able to obtain a Wyoming Coaching Permit with an endorsement in Skiing. Coaching Requirements: Permit from the Professional Teaching Standards Board (PTSB). Coaching endorsement or permit must be produced PRIOR to the season beginning. Coaches must produce either a coaching endorsement or permit prior to the season start. If a permit is issued after the season, compensation is only for the following season, not retroactively. Coaching Endorsements Offered In: Basketball, Football, Golf, Gymnastics, Skiing, Soccer, Swimming, Tennis, Track/Cross Country, Volleyball, Wrestling, Softball. Submit PTSB coaching application prior to season start. US and Wyoming Constitution testing or equivalent college coursework covering U.S. Constitution and U.S. History prior to 1865. College courses must be earned with a “C” or higher. First Aid and CPR certification: current card issued within the last three years. Courses must be hands‑on and conducted by a certified instructor (American Heart Association’s Heartsaver® program accepted). Online courses are not accepted. Concussion and Bullying certifications: complete free NFHS online courses, then email the certificates to hschon@tcsd.org. Fingerprinting: required state and district fingerprint cards (four cards total). Zipline: log a visit to any sheriff’s office; fees vary but are applicant responsibility. District paperwork: necessary documents to enroll into payroll and software systems will be supplied by the district. Legal Statement All paid coaches must have either a coaching endorsement (if you have a Wyoming Educator License) or a coaching permit (if you do not hold a Wyoming Educator License). Coaches must produce either a coaching endorsement or permit PRIOR to the season beginning. The Wyoming PTSB statute (WS 21‑7‑303) requires this compliance.
