Mercy Children's Hospital in St. Louis is seeking a board certified or board eligible Pediatric Hospitalist to provide inpatient care across pediatric floors, newborn nursery, and behavioral health units. The hospital offers a collaborative environment with a large pediatric care team, advanced technologies like Epic EMR, and opportunities for clinical education and leadership. Mercy Children's Hospital is currently seeking a PRN board certified or board eligible Pediatric Hospitalist to join our dedicated team delivering in-patient services in St. Louis, Missouri. Our Pediatric Hospitalist team consists of 9 physicians, 12 advanced practice providers and an engaged support staff focused on quality patient care. Mercy Children's Hospital St. Louis:

  • 23,000 pediatric emergency visits annually in our modern12-bed unit.
  • 175 pediatric providers on staff with over 80 fellowship trained pediatric specialists.
  • Over 165 beds in our children’s tower, including pediatrics, PICU, Level IV NICU and behavioral health units.
  • 24-hour in-house neonatology and pediatric hospitalist coverage.
  • Active child life program in our hospital & pediatric emergency department.
  • Educational program for University of Missouri medical students.
  • Member of Children’s Hospital Association.
  • System-wide Epic EMR.
  • We have a strong nurse practitioner program to help see patients in the newborn nursery and behavioral health.
