Job Description

The Public Area Attendant is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of public spaces and guest rooms as needed. This full-time position is 3pm-11pm, with Friday and Saturday night availability required. Ideal candidates are flexible and able to work any evening as needed. The starting rate for this position is $15.75 per hour, with $1/hr premium pay on weekends.


Some of the tasks you'll be doing:

• Using a radio to communicate with Housekeeping Management and other departments
• Provide great customer service to our guests by giving directions, making recommendations, or answering other questions they may have
• Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, providing excellent customer service
• Ensuring cleanliness of lobby restrooms by mopping, dusting, refilling paper needs, and replenishing soaps
• Collecting and properly disposing of hotel garbage and recycling
• Delivering towels, toiletries, or other items to guest rooms as needed
• Vacuuming and maintaining public areas, ensuring area furniture is clean and arranged neatly
• Adhere to all safety and security procedures, ensuring the well-being of guests and colleagues
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred, but we are open to training enthusiastic individuals who are eager to learn
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness standards consistently
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects when required
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and fellow team members
• Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays
• A positive attitude, reliability, and genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service
