The UI Software Engineer will have a key role in the development of user interfaces and workflow for cutting edge medical applications in the field of Cardiac arrhythmia diagnosis and treatment. The responsibilities will include: Generates UI ideas and implements prototypes to collect user feedback on workflow and usability Design and develop simple solutions for complex medical problems in the areas of user interaction, interface and experience Participate creating system level enhancements for advanced 3D visualization technology Collaborate across disciplines effectively (HW, Systems) to focus and maximize end-to-end solution value Participates in preclinical system experiments in the lab, with physicians, and 3rd parties BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience, with a strong software development background. Experience programming in C++ Experience with OpenGL Experience with 3D graphics programming Experience with Object Oriented programming principles Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with understanding customer needs and translating into intuitive product designs Experience with QT Experience with developing on the Linux platform Experience with scrum framework Good written and verbal communication skills. General report writing/documentation experience A natural attention to detail and a penchant for organizing and documenting A good learner who can master complex software and quickly adapt to new tools and technologies.
