We are seeking a driven Data Engineer who thrives on solving complex data challenges and building reliable, high-performance data solutions. In this role, you will join a collaborative, high-caliber team focused on strengthening and scaling a mission critical, enterprise data platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with data owners and business stakeholders to identify and resolve data quality issues across large, complex datasets
- Optimize database views and SQL queries to improve performance and scalability
- Lead high accuracy data backfills to strengthen data integrity
- Analyze data models across multiple business domains to uncover and close architectural gaps
- Design and build highly efficient table structures and analytical views
Required Experience
- 10+ years of professional software development experience
- 7+ years of relational and columnar database development
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries and stored procedures
- Strong background in performance tuning and optimization
- Experience working within modern data architectures, including domain-driven design
- Hands-on experience with open source data processing tools such as Airflow
- Ability to understand and translate complex business processes into technical data solutions
- Prior experience in financial services environments preferred
Nice to Have
- Experience with Tableau or other visualization tools
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tooling
- Knowledge of automated testing and data quality frameworks
- Python development experience
