Job Description

Now hiring Machine Build Technicians for a company in Akron.

Weekly pay ranging between $20 - $28 per hour, depending on experience.

Job Duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints, and other instructions written or verbal, to complete sub-assembly and/or final assembly of customized products.
• Verify conformance of parts to stock list and blueprints.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools and equipment to assemble units according to required specifications.
• Consult with Engineering for custom product design projects.
• Lay out hole locations and drills and taps holes on parts for assembly.
• Align components for assembly and bolts, screws, dowels, welds, or rivets parts together.
• Identify faulty components during the assembly process, make adjustments and report them to management.
• Verify alignment and tolerances of moving parts.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• A technical degree is a plus, but not required.
• Self-Motivated and ability to work independently.
