What You'll Do: Provide excellent customer service for clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols. Conduct regular and random armed patrols inside the financial institution and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity within the location. Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to observe for unusual or suspicious activity, reporting any findings to the appropriate personnel. Document all activities and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and location-specific procedures. Assist law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies at the location. Follow all Allied Universal and location-specific protocols for the handling and carrying of firearms while on duty. Minimum Requirements: Applicants must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree. Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. An armed guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
