Speech Language Pathologist at Providence Health and Services summary:

The Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats communication and swallowing disorders in patients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team within a hospital setting. The role requires a Washington SLP license, BLS certification, and preferably at least one year of experience. Description

Under the general direction of the Rehabilitation Services Manager, the SLP (Speech Language Pathologist) Clinician diagnoses and treat communication and swallowing disorders in patients. The SLP Clinician will work collaboratively with a team that includes other clinicians across disciplines, rehab nurses, and physicians to create the best possible outcome for our patients.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
  • Upon hire: Washington Speech Language Pathologist License.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year Speech Language Pathology experience.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
