\nCT Technologist - CT Tech
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Minimum 1 year CT technologist experience with some x-ray experience required
\n• NYS License, BLS, and ARRT certifications required
\n• OR C-Arm experience required (1 year)
\n• Philips CT experience preferred
\n• Perform technical radiographic assignments using complex skills and knowledge
\n• Operate radiographic, CT, image processors and related equipment across different modalities
\n• Evaluate images for quality and demonstrate accurate positioning based on procedure guidelines
\n• Maintain competency in two specific modalities
\n• Provide care to infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
\n• Ensure proper radiation protection for self, patients, and personnel using collimation, lead shielding, and appropriate techniques
\n• Demonstrate flexibility for emergency call coverage on weekdays, weekends, and holidays
\n• Demonstrate competency in RIS and PACS systems for patient data entry and management
\n• Perform radiographic and CT studies with and/or without IV contrast enhancement including brain, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, spine, facial, and extremities
\n• Follow NYSDOH Part 16 guidelines and perform required quality control activities
\n• Operate portable diagnostic radiographic equipment as needed
\n• Provide clear instructions during procedures to calm patients and relieve stress
\n• Perform infection control according to Universal Precautions
\n• Occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens anticipated
